1. What We Collect

TradeFlare collects minimal data. Specifically:

• No account required: The core platform (dashboard, track record, smart money) is accessible without creating an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, or personal identifiers for unauthenticated use.
• Server logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamp) are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes. These are not sold or shared.
• Analytics: We may use privacy-respecting analytics (no cross-site tracking) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — e.g. which pages are visited, not who visits them.
• Email (if subscribed): If you subscribe to email alerts, we store your email address solely to send those alerts. We do not share it with third parties.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect or store your portfolio, trading history, or brokerage account details
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads remarketing)
• We do not build personal profiles or use your data for targeted advertising

3. Cookies

TradeFlare uses only functional cookies necessary for the platform to work (e.g. session state, filter preferences). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser without losing access to core functionality.

4. Third-Party Services

TradeFlare uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) — for stock logo images. No personal data is transmitted.
• SEC EDGAR — for public insider filing data. No personal data is transmitted.
• Google Fonts / Font Awesome CDN — for typography and icons. These may log your IP as part of CDN delivery.

5. Data Security

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. We do not store payment information — any subscription billing is handled entirely by our payment processor and we receive only confirmation of payment status.

6. Your Rights

If you have subscribed to email alerts and wish to have your email address deleted, contact us at [email protected] and we will remove it within 7 days. Residents of the EU/EEA have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data we hold about you.

7. Children

TradeFlare is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top when changes are made. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
