Everything you need to know about how TradeFlare's AI analysis works and what it means for your trading.
Platform
What is TradeFlare?
TradeFlare is an AI-powered stock analysis platform. Every day, our multi-agent AI system screens the market, analyses volume spikes, chart patterns, fundamentals, sentiment, and risk — then surfaces the most interesting setups with a clear BUY, HOLD, or SELL signal alongside detailed reasoning.
Is TradeFlare free to use?
Yes — the dashboard, stock analyses, and track record are completely free to view. We're focused on building trust first by showing you exactly how the AI performs over time.
How often is the analysis updated?
The AI pipeline runs once per day, typically after the US market closes. The dashboard shows the timestamp of the latest update so you always know how fresh the data is.
Which stocks does TradeFlare analyse?
Each day the system screens the market for stocks exhibiting unusual volume, momentum shifts, or interesting pattern setups. The selection changes daily — you may see large-caps, mid-caps, or small-caps depending on what the screener flags as noteworthy.
AI Analysis
How does the multi-agent AI system work?
TradeFlare uses a team-of-teams AI architecture built on Google Gemini:
Technical Team — analyses price action, chart patterns, trend strength, and momentum indicators.
Fundamental Team — evaluates business quality, earnings, valuation, and financial health.
Sentiment Team — reads news flow, social signals, and market psychology.
Risk Team — identifies macro risks, sector headwinds, and downside scenarios.
Each team produces a structured analysis with a verdict and conviction score. A Fund Manager AI then synthesises all four teams into a final decision with a suggested entry, stop-loss, and target price.
What is the "Conviction" score?
Conviction is a 0–10 scale representing how strongly aligned all four AI teams are on a given call. A score of 8–10 means the technical, fundamental, sentiment, and risk analyses all point the same direction. A score below 5 indicates mixed signals — use those with extra caution. You can filter the dashboard by "High Conviction" to see only the strongest setups.
What data does the AI use?
The pipeline pulls from multiple sources including:
Live and historical price / volume data (OHLCV)
Fundamental financial data (earnings, revenue, balance sheet)
News headlines and sentiment feeds
Macro indicators and sector context
All data is passed to the AI teams as structured context — no raw internet browsing during analysis.
Can the AI be wrong?
Yes, absolutely. AI models can hallucinate, miss unexpected news, or misjudge market dynamics. That is why we publish a Track Record page — so you can judge the AI's historical accuracy for yourself before acting on any signal. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
Signals
What do BUY, HOLD, and SELL mean?
BUY — The AI sees a favourable risk/reward setup with positive alignment across teams. A suggested entry, stop-loss, and target are provided.
HOLD — Mixed signals or insufficient edge. The AI suggests watching but not entering a new position.
SELL — Negative momentum, fundamental deterioration, or elevated risk. Existing positions may warrant trimming.
These are analytical signals, not orders. Always apply your own judgement and risk management.
How should I interpret Entry, Stop-Loss, and Target prices?
Entry — The price zone the AI considers a reasonable entry based on technical structure at the time of analysis.
Stop-Loss — A suggested invalidation level. If the stock closes below this, the thesis may no longer hold.
Target — A projected price objective based on chart structure and fundamentals. Not a guarantee.
These levels are calculated at analysis time and may become stale as price moves. Always re-evaluate before trading.
Can I see historical signals?
Yes. The Signals panel on the Dashboard lets you browse signals by date going back several weeks. The Track Record page shows the outcome of past calls so you can evaluate accuracy over time.
